Every Monday morning I take the ride to pick up the kids for the Albergue School. As I pull up and honk the horn, "Vivo" (Carlos) and Dulce responds, "We are coming Pastor", I get out of my van to get a running hug from Vivo. Vivo means, ALIVE! And if you have a chance to hang out with Carlos, he is filled with great living hope. However, the reality is that his father and grandfather are in jail. This past week another one of the fathers were placed in jail for being part of a fight that ended in a shooting. In the midst of all this I thank God that the children still come running to give me a hug every Monday morning. Thanks for your prayers for this kind of UNCOMMON HOPE happens when we trust in the LOVE of GOD over the situation we sometimes find ourselves in. Continue to pray and partner with us in experiencing the transformed lives of these children.
